Y Type Strainers

Vee Bee offer a range of Y Type Strainers second to none, both in size, range, material and screen choice together with the experience to be able to design and manufacture custom made specials to suit any known practical application.

In addition to the basic materials, Vee Bee can manufacture in a wide variety of special metals such as Monel, Inconel, Hastalloy C, Duplex stainless and other Alloy steels. We can provide a comprehensive range of flanges in accordance with all International Standards including ANSI, BS4504, BS10, and DIN specifications.

Vee Bee are increasingly aware of the problem of high differential pressure drops caused by some manufacturers reducing the size of their strainer bodies to save materials and cut costs. That is why Vee Bee supply units with generous ratios of filtration area to pipe bore area to prevent flow restriction.

With almost 50 years’ experience, plus our extensive in-house design, manufacture and testing facilities, we have the capability to meet any requirement. For non-standard use of materials please contact Vee Bee’s Technical Sales.
